Honestly the only time I tried growing a vegetable garden it was a disaster. I had planted it in a community plot and you had to walk through tick infested tall grass to scoop your water out of a creek. Then about one month into the growing season I had to go to California to see my mom who was having medical problems. When I returned three weeks later the weeds had won the battle! Now 12 years later, I’m ready to try again! I will be attempting to grow several varieties of tomato plants on my deck; a Tumbling Tom cherry tomato in a hanging basket and a Better Bush in a 14” container. Wish me luck!
